- 22 September 2016: Thank you for rescuing us at the airport! The house is lovely - peaceful, quiet and with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area within about 1 hour drive in any direction. Nice restaurants in the town and especially the 'Three Barrels' (Três Pipos, Tondela). Not much in the way of suggestions as everything is very good. Obrigado! - Graham, Anne and Pauline, from England.
- 10 June September 2019: We spent a wonderful week with our family in this lovely restored house in the Portuguese countryside at the end of May/early June this year. The house preserves its old charm and we particularly enjoyed eating outside on the large vine covered courtyard, with the fruit trees in the garden and abundance of fresh oranges. The nearby town of Santa Comba Dao has its own charm as well as being convenient for shopping and restaurants, morning coffee and market day. There is a beautiful natural lake nearby for wild, but safe, swimming and boat hire in the summer months. At the same time the house is no more than 1 and 1/2 hours from Atlantic beaches and the City of Porto. We hope very much to return. Best regards, Jon and Ceinwen
